KahBang Film Opens Submissions for 2014 Festival

The KahBang Film Festival has officially opened submissions for  filmmakers for their 5th Annual Independent Film Festival. Got a film to share? We are looking for the best in emerging cinema, new filmmakers, new voices and new stories, so we can celebrate our 5th birthday in style. Each year the KahBang Festival highlights indie cinema by allowing audiences to discover “the next” in independent cinema.

Early Bird Submission Deadline is Sunday, December 15, 2013. Deadlines range from Regular Deadline of Friday, January 31, 2014 to WAB Extended Deadline of Wednesday, April 30, 2014. You may submit your film online through WAB.

The KahBang Film Festival is a discovery festival for independent cinema, dedicated to showcasing emerging films and filmmakers and exposing them to new audiences. The festival is a program of the non-profit organization KahBang Arts and is part of the KahBang Festival brand. To serve this mission, the KahBang Film Festival takes place annually during the indie-discovery music festival, KahBang, allowing for a wide, diverse audience of festival-goers.

The 5th Annual KahBang Film Festival runs August 7-10, 2014 in downtown Bangor, Maine as part of New England’s largest indie-discovery festival, KahBang Music & Art Festival.
