Unfortunately, no. Although we would love to have the opportunity to speak with each filmmaker about their work, due to the volume of submissions we receive we are unable to correspond with all of our filmmakers individually. Each year we view far more worthy films than we have room to play, so please do not be discouraged if your film is not accepted.
We primarily screen DVD disks (Region 0 or 1). We are typically unable to screen other formats at this time. If you are accepted, you must provide us with at least two DVDs for exhibition.
The Fifth Annual KahBang Film Festival will take place August 7th-10th in Bangor, Maine. See you there!
Yes, accepted filmmakers are typically given passes to attend the KahBang Festival, which includes the Film Festival, Music Festival and other festival events.
